{Miss Lexi} Alexandria, MN Senior Photographer

Well. I am blogging and in the middle of the busiest time of the year for me. What am I thinking? I am thinking that Miss Lexi is too cute to wait for her blog! :)

First we will start out with her lovely family. Did you know that every senior session booked with JGP gets a free family session?? Well, you do now.

Lexi is my youngest daughter's BFF. I LOVE it when I photograph kids, er...I mean young adults I know. I hope that I am able to capture their personality because I know them a bit. And I am grateful for their trust with selecting me as their photographer. It truly means the world to me. So I say thank you to you Lexi and your family. <3

Thanks Lexi...you are a beautiful, kind young lady. I know I will see you around from time to time, right?

Miss Sabrina is not only a cutie, she is sweet, she is funny, she has style, she is smart, and she is talented. Waaay more than a triple threat. At her senior session last fall, she told me how she is looking into a career of cosmetology, has a cute boyfriend, works at Caribou and loves photography. I mean who doesn't, right? ;) And I have seen her work....Miss Sabrina, if your path towards cosmetology includes photography either as a hobby or for an earned living, you will be one busy young lady.

I love, love, love her selection of outfits! Especially her hat, from someone (me) who is hat challenged (aka I have ONE hat that actually looks just, "eh" on me) I am jealous of anyone who can wear a hat and look this stinkin' adorable.

My absolute favorite image of her session.

Best of luck Sabrina....you have a bright future ahead of you.

Hey, look....two days in a roll blog post! Miss Emalee's session took place last fall and I believe was one of the last of the season. And I tell you it was FRRRRREEEEEEZZZZING! So much that snow began to fall while on her session. I actually needed to Photoshop random snowflakes from her images! So this is the little Public Service Reminder if you love the fall look for your session, it books really fast. The peak time for really good fall color for your photo session is last week of August first week of October. And it books up NOW. However like with Emalee's session...we still found color late into middle of October. And to remind you, we live in Minnesota, it could be freezing cold or crazy warm. You never know!!

Hope your year was great Emalee! Good luck with your plans for next year and beyond!!!!

Seriously, I was asked if I have a blog anymore. That is how bad it has gotten. My last post was February...my excuse? Busy, just plain busy. I really don't know how to remedy it, I mean it is a good thing to be. I have soooooo many sessions that I haven't shared, I am embarrassed to tell you how many, so I won't. :)

Hard to believe the school year is coming to end. I think I hear a collective cheer from parents and students alike....and teachers!!

Here is Miss Heidi's session from last early summer. She is a true country girl...complete with belt buckle, plaid shirts, cowgirl boots and all.

I hope your year was awesome and full of fun memories!! Best wishes for your bright future Heidi!

To say Taylor's dad is outnumbered is putting it mildly. But I think he wouldn't want it any other way. Five girls, six if you count his high school sweetie Steph. And a proud dad he is, and almost made me loose it after he teared up during the session for their baby girl is growing up. Sorry Jeff...spillin' the beans here. But I know your pain. It is so exciting yet so hard to see your baby shake off their feathers, ready to take the leap out of the nest. I really think the word "bittersweet" was created for parents embarqing on this chapter in their lives.

So we started out with their family session, which I was told was the only professional family photo they have taken.

And the proud parents. Sorry dad...I had to share it. It was probably one of the sweetest moments I have ever captured. A dad so proud that it can't be contained only in the welling up of tears.

Thanks Taylor.....I hope your year is going fantastic!!! Can't wait to hear about the exciting times you have in store for next year. I wish you the best sweetie!!!
