{oh boy...oh cute, cute boy} Central Minnesota Photographer

Little "M" sure took his time in getting here. I am sure his mom agrees. We scheduled the baby session at the maternity session for his due date. Mom said he will come early, the other boys did...Nope, he sure didn't.
But soooo worth the wait.

Look at those dimples. Since having some of my own...I ♥ dimples.

Mom even commented to me...you are going to love his hair. Yep, I sure do!

Thanks Mom and "M".

{dramatic skies + taking cover} Central Minnesota Photographer

The evening of "A's" senior session was filled with a wonderfully lit sky, however there seemed to be a cloud that was bound to ruin our attempts of a photo session. But lucky for us...I carry a large reflector, which is so handy when needing just a little more light on my subject, helps diffuse the sun's harsh rays, and we found out this night...protects from sudden flash downpours when you are standing in a field. I even commented that if we moved 10 feet to the north we would be dry.
So, there we are...A, his mom and me standing together under our make shift umbrella waiting for the drops to subside. Which I wish now I would have taken a photo of...not us huddling there..the rain falling between the green, green trees, highlighted against the sun directly behind this one cloud. It was beautiful. But, I digress, you will have to take my word for it.

This is the light that was directly behind that one cloud, and that one cloud that drifted slowly to the east. The way the sun bounced off it, made that one cloud ☺ as dark as night. Really it was that dark. Which made me a little giddy, as it resulted in a dramatic photo as such.

Thanks A, mom and Mother Nature for an awesome session.

{connected} Central Minnesota Photographer

I say connected, cause to this family, we really are in many different paths. It is quite crazy if I stand back and think about it.
This lovely young lady is "K". Her sister is a friend of mine, her mother...also a friend. Her brother in law works with my husband. Her cousin and I worked together for a few years. And "K" and my daughter are friends. So really...it's like we're related.
And really her session for her senior photos should be a family affair as well. And it was. "K", her mom, her nephew, and her niece and newest family member...me! And tell you, having that many there to help...it's a really good thing. Little Mr. "J" helped with the reflector as did his grandma. And Little Miss "K" well, she sat and looked as cute as a button, which really does help in the grand scheme of things.
But, this is "K's" day..so on to share.

Ok, this morning we did photos was garbage day for the downtown merchants and restaurants... but not just a regular ol' garbage day...like the foulest garbage day ever. So bad that this is the reaction that I got from K and J.

Sorry guys...too funny not to share.
And here are the littles that joined us and helped that day. You have seen them on my blog before..remember this? Here is J.
And here is K when she was a lot smaller.

Here they are now.

Thank you "K" family for the day and letting me be in your world!!

{bonus} Central Minnesota Photographer

...five cute kids.
This is the "T" kids. They came to visit from their home in Iowa. I was so glad to meet them and Mom and Grandparents. I love their energy, even if it makes me work a little harder. ☺ And them all dolled up in kid's best fashion, and being so gosh-darn cute, well, that is a bonus as us photographers say.
Here is the whole adorable clan...

Miss "O". The flowers in the fields were amazing.

Mr. "L". The kids loved looking for little critters, dead or alive ones, didn't matter.

Smiley Miss "S". The light was amazing during this series.

Mr. "C" Such a quiet little guy. So adorable.

Busy Mr. "N". Mom said, "he loves to run" so running is what he did.

I love this one. We were sort of mean, as we told them to look for the big ship. Sorry kids. No ship on that little lake.

Thank you "T" family.

{pink balloons + piggie tails} Central Minnesota Photographer

My girl...okay, she's not really my girl. I have loved seeing her grow.

She is 18 months old now and some how developed a slight southern accent when she babbles...especially when she would ask for "heeeelp" when she would get tangled in the balloons.

Girly pink painted toes. A girl after my own heart.

Thanks as always "D" family.

{D+L} Central Minnesota Photographer

The weather was definately iffy at best driving to the location of David & Lindsey's engagement session. But thank goodness the rain held off with perfect overcast for photos, and just at the end...the sun made it's appearance to quickly set below the horizon. The beach and early evening sky and the cute couple made for a perfect night.

One of my favs of the evening.

And David don't hate me for posting these. I love your quiet sense of humor. And yes, I have a quick trigger finger...nothing gets by me.

{meeting in the middle} Central Minnesota Photographer

Coming from the southern part of the state, this extended family was vacationing somewhere in the middle of home and me. So we met in the middle.
Here is the whole enchilada.

And the little sprouts.

in all their craziness. I say that affectionately you know.

And the people who started it all...they were actually celebrating a pretty impressive anniversary date that weekend. Congratulations!!!
