It seems forever ago that we did Miss L's first senior session, probably cause it was! It was August. It was hot. It was soooo humid. And it was county fair time!!!
For a few years now, I have been wanting to do a senior session at the fair. Lucky for me L was game...no pun intended.
We started the session at the lovely Carlos Creek Winery.
Then next stop...the fair! Oh, to me the fairground with all the rides, games, lights is a photographers dream to shoot on location! Plus any place that has cheese curds, french fries and strawberry shakes, is a place I love to be! Plus as a kid I have sooo many wonderful memories at the Douglas County Fair. My parents and grandparents had the A&W lunch wagon so my brother and I were there at the fair all four long days. We ate ourselves silly on corndogs and A&W rootbeer, we saved our allowance for months to play the games! We had so many cheezy, cheap carny prizes...but we loved it! I mean who doesn't love many feathers and beads on a leather strand with a clip?? So many possibilites, right??? A toy and a 70's fashion accessory all in one!
Ok back to L's session.I love, love, love the colors!!!!!!
The sun was low in the sky, it was perfect all we needed was balloons. Searching through hundreds of people and there I saw it, in a perfect 3 formation. And lucky for me the lovely woman holding this find, was a previous client of mine. Her family session is here. Thanks Lori...you are a life saver!!
The next set is from Miss L's second session. I really love when seniors do this, as you can have a completely different look, location, and clothing for the second session. And boy was it ever different. From the last time we were together, we probably lost 5 lbs. in sweat, but this time we were shivering we were so cold!
Thanks L and mom!!!!
