Not that "S" reminds me of Forest Gump, but that quote I think is totally his demeanor. Easy going, free loving, and sweet. I told him he was an “old soul” and his response was “thanks”.
I remember the first time I saw S, it was years ago and he was on TV performing for a local telethon. There he was sporting his fedora, strumming his ukulele, and singing, “Don’t Forget Me When I am Gone”. I didn’t know who he was at the time, but I did know he had talent. And still does.
He loves anything in nature and we were on the look out for awesome flowers, and we found the jackpot.
And approximately 5 minutes after these shots I walked right into a poison ivy patch. And approximately 1 day later poison ivy had consumed both legs. And approximately 2 weeks later it was gone. Sounds simple, but countless of dollars of Ivy Dry, gauze, wraps, visit to the MD and injection later...it was anything but simple. Downside of the job I guess. ☺
You know how I love me some sunflare.
If you would like to check out his next live show go to Evansville Art Center Friday, August 6th at 7pm. He is there with his band Mistress Melody and the Groove Gang. Don't miss it!
