You called. You booked. You broke the news to your family. "We are having a family photo session". They scream. No...I am kidding. About the screaming part, that is.
Then you ask...what do we wear?
Well, here is a little guide that I throw on the blog once in a while. I tell you what I say NOT to wear. Please don't do all one color, or all white or all black. There are several reasons from a photographers eye as why not to do this but mainly cause it's boring. Sorry, to be honest, but it is. Usually everyone in one color looks like a blob of that one color you picked out cause it's easy and everyone has it. I know it is easy, but it's boring. So here are a few examples of what to wear. And I know some of these examples are loud, or over the top, but it is just what I wanted to show you so it's very apparent of what to do.
You see that each example has about 2-3 colors in them. One base color and 2-3 accent colors. The base color should be uniform on almost everyone in the family should have on, and the other colors can be floated about to mix and match with everyone that you don't look like you bought your outfits from GranAnimals, but rather that you took the extra time to pull it all in, so that you notice your happy cute faces.
Once you schedule your session, I can help you. In fact I send out a clothing suggestion guide and assist you for websites or stores that work best in coordinating your clothing choices for your session.
Can't wait to see what you can come up with!!!
