I have thought many, many times about these two families since spending a short time during our sessions together. They cross my mind a lot. They have a common thread. A common thread that bonds, however, these two families may or may not know each other at all.
Each family has same-sex siblings, two sisters in one, two brothers in the other. The children in one family are about the same ages as the other. Both families have four letters for their last name. Both families are loving. Both families are strong. Both families have had loss. During the past year or so, each family has lost a Daddy.
When both of these Mommies contacted me to do a session (which the original contact date and the date of the sessions were only days apart from each other), both said almost the same thing that they needed to capture their families as they are. Their loved spouses were gone, but still very much there.
First the "G" family.
And now the "M" family.
I loved these two next images. And when Mom "A" opened her order, she told me, "I had to get this one, he looks just like his Dad here."
Thank you for allowing me to capture your families. God Bless you. You will never walk alone.
