{rain didn't ruin our day...almost} Central Minnesota Photographer

The skies were dark, but no rain. The wind was blowing, but again no rain.
So good thing for both me and Miss "E". As this was the day of her senior photography session and we kept on.

And it started to rain.

"C" was a quiet guy. As a few of the male seniors I photograph are. Well, I really can't blame them, within minutes of meeting them I have a camera in their face. But I started to think that maybe why he was so quiet is between his mother and me...he probably couldn't have gotten a word in any way! ☺






Just a word, it is a bit crazy around here right now. I am working as hard as I can to get caught up, but when I have been busy shooting more than I have had time to edit and being my own one-woman-show; I start to fall behind. So those who are so patiently waiting...thank you. I hope you will find it's worth the wait.

yep, these eyes can't get any more blue. Trust me... no extra help here in Photoshop. Those baby blues are the real deal. Sweetie pie, Miss "K".





My favorite time of the day for photo sessions, just before sunset. Mother Nature gives me a helping hand in a warm, soft light which gives results as stunning as this.

{special bond} Central Minnesota Photographer

Remember little "K" from a few months ago? Refresher here. Her she is now. But this time she brought her two big brothers and a bunch of cousins. "K's" mom wanted to do something special for Grandpa of this sweet family. So, that is when she called me back to get the whole group together as a gift for Grandpa. What a great idea. Grandpa was worried about some of the condition of the out-buildings on his beautiful farm..."them needing a good coat of paint and all"....I had to inform him that in my eyes there were better than perfect. It's what us photographer's call a big bonus!







And the whole group. They looked pretty sharp in their coordinating outfits.

{beach + golf course = vacation} Central Minnesota Photographer

Not my vacation, but theirs...The "O" family.
Vacationing here from....well, somewhere other than here.
The day was so dark, rainy, wet and I am sure you get the point. But even on vacation there is a schedule to be had between the lake, the course, eating, playing, you do what you need to do. Can you blame them? No, I cannot. Rain be gone, and it did just for a bit.

I had so much fun with this session. The guys were nice, easy to tell what to do to work with, and their mom were hilarious. I have known mom, Karen, for a few years now, I love her energy and humor, no doubt that the rest of the family would follow suit. The moms in this session were a God-send. I am sure they felt the effects of them being my assistants the next day. Thank you ladies...for the laughs too!
